Sticking to your daily routine is easier than you think - even if you’re staying in the comfort of home. Get all the tips you need to fill your time in the most productive way.
WORKOUT AT HOME. I know this isn't as motivating as going to the gym, but it is something! I have been enjoying yoga and challenging myself to do different poses!
JOURNAL. What a perfect time to start journaling! I use a bullet journal and supplies found here. I like to create weekly spread outs and list what I did in the day, especially the positives. This is a great mental health tool! You can find some of my personal creations on my Instagram.
CLEAN. I decided to pick a room of my house to clean top to bottom everyday of the week. Monday was kitchen, Tuesday was living room, today was the bathroom, etc. This is a great way to get your Spring cleaning done before life gets back to normal and the last thing you want to do is clean your house.
TRAIN YOUR DOG. This will only apply to some people, but I am taking this time to train my dog, Kalida, some new tricks! Sit down with your dog for 15-30 minutes and train them. I like to use the clicker/treat method.
READ. Read a book! Nothing is better than waking up in the morning and making some coffee and to read a book.
GARDEN. Get outside and soak up some sunshine! Start to weed and landscape early this year.
CATCH UP WITH YOUR FAMILY. How long has it been since you called your grandparents? They probably want to hear from you especially during these crazy times!
WATCH A MOVIE. Once you get done cleaning and training your dog, watch a movie and relax! You deserve it.
PAMPER YOURSELF. Put on a face mask, paint your nails, do a hair treatment, take a bath, etc.
FIND A NEW HOBBY. Start taking photos, start to draw, start to journal, anything! Try something that you always wanted to do.
STAY POSITIVE. Take this time to do things you don't get to do. Treat yourself and have fun!
